1. CamelCamelCamel

If you’re a frequent Amazon shopper, CamelCamelCamel.com is a must-know site. While it isn’t much to look at, it’s a fantastic resource. The primary function of the site is to track price history for nearly any product.

It’s as simple as copying the page URL for the item in question and pasting into the search tool at the very top of the page. Hit the search button and watch the CamelCamelCamel magic.

You’ll see info about the product and a purchase button as well as a detailed price history going back months or even years.

The site defaults to showing you Amazon’s price history, but you can track third-party vendors by using the dropdown menu, and you can specify a price at which to get sent an email notifying you about a price drop. If you just click the “Drops to” box, you can even set a percentage by which you want the price to drop before you get notified.

Keepa also offers its own browser extensions for FireFox, Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Wishlist importing is available with Keepa as well for email updates when prices drop.

3. Honey

Available as a browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox, Honey is a great tool that delivers price updates from Amazon, eBay, and over 10,000 other online stores.

Once it’s installed, you can either register with an email address or just click ‘I’ll sign up later’ at the bottom of the page (though if you want to use the droplist to track prices, you should register).

With the extension active, go to your item on Amazon, then click the square Honey icon at the right of the screen. It will tell you if the item is a good deal based on its price history, and here you can also click “See price history” to see the item on Honey. You can then click “Add to Droplist” to track that item.

The price tracking and history aren’t as detailed as other sites on this list, but what really separates Honey from the competition is coupons. The company prides itself on searching the Web for coupons or promotional codes. Another Honey’s attractive features is its ability to instantly apply coupons to any product if available.
