How to Sign Up for Apple One on Your Apple Device

Apple One Cover

Apple recently launched a new subscription service “Apple One.” Apple One is basically a series of Apple services bundled together in one package. This is very helpful for those who are using various Apple services and have purchased different subscriptions separately.

The Apple One bundle includes the majority of Apple’s services, including Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple TV+ and more. The specific services depend on which Apple One tier you choose to subscribe to. Currently thee are three tiers: Individual, Family and Premier. Find more details here.

Apple Premier Country Restrictions

While the Apple One Individual and Family bundles are available in over 100 countries and regions, the Apple Premier tier is currently only limited to U.S.A, U.K., Australia and Canada, since Apple News+ is only available in these countries. Also bear in mind that Apple Fitness+ has not officially been released, with Apple’s website saying that it’ll be coming in “late 2020.”

Sign Up for Apple One Using Safari

The easiest way to sign up for Apple One is from within the Safari app on iOS. To do this:

1. Open Safari on your iOS device. Type in one.apple.com in the browser and press Enter.

5. Select your preferred tier and tap “Start Free Trial.”

You can alternatively choose to subscribe to Apple One from “Settings -> Apple ID -> Subscriptions -> Get Apple One -> Start Free Trial.”

Once you’re done, you’ll automatically be able to use all the services that are included with the specific tier you choose. We’d recommend checking your iCloud storage plan to ensure that you’re seeing the proper amount of storage. Some users have reported that their Apple One iCloud storage amounts are added on top of the existing iCloud plans (that they already pay for). If this is the case with your account as well, we’d recommend you to cancel or adjust your previous iCloud plan accordingly.

Another important point is that if you’re already using any service that’s also included in your Apple One tier, that service will automatically be migrated to your Apple One bundle once the trial period is over. Thus, you’ll need to keep paying for the services you previously used separately during the Apple one trial. Once the Apple trial ends and converts to a paid subscription, any standalone subscriptions will be converted into your Apple one subscription. If you have any prepaid time remaining on the individual subscriptions, you should be refunded for them automatically.
