My first Chromebook didn’t have app support, but my current one does – the only app I’ve used regularly is Epson i-print, to access the scanner on my Epson combi – it can print through Cloudprint, but scanning must be done through the app. Otherwise, I tried photoshop, but found the Polarr webapp to be better suited to mouse and keyboard use, and the same with Google Earth.

If you have a license for Office, OneNote is still included.
