Power outages, camping, and outdoor parties are all much better when you have portable power. The DEENO X1500 Portable Power Station makes it easy to power lights, refrigerators, coffee makers, music, and more. I recently had the opportunity to test out this convenient power station myself to see how well it works.

Overview of Features
The DEENO X1500 Portable Power Station is a heavy-duty 1,500 W device that has a life span of up to a decade with average use. This is thanks to the LiFePO4 battery that lasts through more than 3,500 charging cycles at around 80% capacity. You even get an impressive five-year warranty, showing that DEENO backs their claims of a long-lasting power station.
The product description lists several common devices with estimates of how long they’ll run, such as:
- Refrigerator – 7 – 14 hours
- CPAP – 21 – 25 hours
- Light (10W) – 96 hours
- Fan (40W) – 21 hours
- Coffee maker – just under an hour
- Phone – Charge up to 89 times
- Laptop – Charge up to 16 times
Charge up to a dozen devices at the same time, with support for up to 1036 Wh at once. Take advantage of 11 output ports:
- 3x AC 120V (50Hz/60hz)
- 3x USB-A (5V / 9V / 12V)
- 2x USB-C fast charge (5V / 9V / 12V / 15V)
- Car charger (12V / 120W)
- DC (12V / 60W)
- DC (24V / 120W)
Naturally, there’s also an input port for charging the DEENO X1500 Portable Power Station. If your device supports wireless charging, there’s a wireless charger included as well.
If you need extra light outside or indoors during an outage, use the bright LED light that includes three brightness settings and an SOS flash.
You can charge the power station using the included adapter or via solar panels, which are sold separately. You can buy a version with the solar panels and power station as a set. For my review, I only tested the power station itself.
Everything is easy to monitor, thanks to the bright LCD screen. Monitor remaining power, check current wattage used, and see how much longer it takes to charge the power station.
In the Box
The DEENO X1500 Portable Power Station is very well packaged. All the cables are tucked away in a separate box, which also makes a nice storage container for the cords. But you also get a drawstring bag to hold the cables and the instruction manual.
It is a little heavy at 31 lbs., but that’s expected with the battery capacity.
The box contains:
- Power station
- Power adapter
- Car charging cable
- Solar charging cable
- User manual
- Carrying bag for accessories
Getting Started
When the DEENO X1500 Portable Power Station arrived, it only had around a 25% charge, so I started by plugging it in to charge. I loved that it shows the current battery percentage and estimated time to charge. All I had to do was quick tap of the On/Off button to check the display.
It took around five hours to charge to 100%, so I’d say to expect anywhere from six to seven hours for a full charge if it’s completely discharged. The adapter does get warm, but the power station itself doesn’t get hot at all.
The power station couldn’t be easier to use. Hold the On/Off button for a few seconds to turn the device on or off. Then, simply turn on the type of power you want to use – AC, USB, or DC – and connect your device.
The user manual is extremely clear on how to use everything, which is nice if you’re not used to using power stations like this. However, it’s pretty intuitive.
I do love that all the ports are located on the front. Plus, there are rubberized feet that keep the device from budging even a little when you set it down.
Powering Devices
I mainly use portable power stations to power my refrigerator, a lamp, and charge my phone and tablet during a power outage. So, I put the DEENO X1500 Portable Power Station through this test.
I started by turning on the AC power and connected my refrigerator, which is a dual refrigerator and freezer. From a full charge, the display showed an estimated 10 hours remaining. Since the product description says up to 14 hours for a refrigerator, I was impressed that my larger fridge could run for up to 10 hours.
But I didn’t stop there. I also plugged in a standard tableside lamp. I then connected a tablet to the USB-A port and placed my phone on the wireless charger. At this point, the time remaining dropped to nine hours.
Since everything was running so well, I plugged in a drop cord to power my TV, modem/router, and Roku box. The remaining time stayed at nine hours with all of this running.
After letting everything run for a few hours, the power station wasn’t even warm. Plus, the display showed I still had seven hours of power remaining. The power estimates on the display seem to be consistent. I never saw any random drops, fluctuations, or anything like that.
If you need extra light, definitely use the included light on the back. Even on the low setting, it’s incredibly bright and did a great job at lighting up my living room. Medium or high would be ideal if you are outside or wanted a brighter light to read or see to walk through a room.
I was impressed that you get two USB-C fast charging ports. These worked flawlessly with my Samsung phone.
Honestly, I only have one qualm with the power station. I’m not fond of the handles. At first, they look like standard handles, but they’re designed to be hidden handles that pull out several inches.
Not only does it make it feel like you’re about to drop the power station, but it’s not really necessary for them to extend. I could see them possibly wearing out with frequent use.
Final Thoughts
The DEENO X1500 Portable Power Station is a handy device to have around during power outages or to make camping feel a little more like home. It’s a great addition to an RV as well. Plus, if you add some solar panels, it’s easy to keep charged if you don’t have another power source around.
