Electric toothbrushes are a great way to get cleaner teeth without so much manual scrubbing. However, the Bitvae Smart S2 Electric Toothbrush gives more than a basic electric brush. Instead, it’s also a smart brush that lets you customize the way you clean your teeth. I recently had the pleasure of trying this toothbrush out for myself.

Overview of Features
The Bitvae Smart S2 Electric Toothbrush doesn’t skimp on features. First of all, it boasts the American Dental Association’s ADA Accepted seal. That’s always important to look for in any quality toothbrush. To better clean your teeth, the brush features an ultrasonic motor that provides 40,000 micro brushing movements per minute. Naturally, this helps blast away plaque better than manual brushing alone.
A truly impressive feature is the battery life. It can last up to 100 days per charge and charges in around four hours.
You can choose from five different brush modes along with nine intensity levels:
- Clean
- White
- Soft
- Gum Care
- Smart
In Smart mode, you’re able to set custom brush routines. For instance, you might start your morning with Gum Care at a level 4 intensity but end the day with Clean at a level 8 intensity. You control everything via the free iSpruz app.
To make sure you brush your teeth more effectively, you’ll get an alert (a flashing red light and vibrations) that you’re brushing too hard. There’s also a brief buzz and pause every 30 seconds to let you know to switch to the next section of your teeth.
In the Box
The slimline box is packed full. It comes with everything you’ll need to brush for at least a few years:
- Toothbrush
- 8 brush heads, including 2 with tongue cleaners
- USB charging cable (no adapter)
- Travel case
- Instructions
The travel case has room to fit two brush heads, and there’s also one toothbrush head cover to keep your brush cleaner when it’s not in use.
Getting Started
The Bitvae Smart S2 Electric Toothbrush couldn’t be easier to start using. I clicked a brush head into place and downloaded the app.
The brush connects via Bluetooth. Once I signed up for an account in the app (free to do), I was able to quickly pair the brush. It took about a minute from start to finish.
What I love about the app is that you no longer have to guess how much battery life is remaining. The app shows you both the percentage and estimated number of days. I was pleasantly surprised that the brush was mostly charged when it arrived.
I started with the pre-made Smart-Custom setting, which uses Soft mode at a level 5 intensity. I’d say this is a great mode for most any user. It’s incredibly gentle but cleans well.
I was surprised to discover I was brushing way too hard. I got buzzed quite a bit during that first session.
I also got a grade of B for my brushing. Yes, you get graded in the app based on how well you brush.
Custom Brushing
After a few brushing sessions, I set up a custom plan in the Bitvae Smart S2 Electric Toothbrush’s app. I did a Clean in the morning and a White at night. I also upped the intensity to 7 and 6 respectively.
Once I mastered the pressure to avoid getting alerts, I couldn’t believe how well this brush cleans. I’m extremely picky about toothbrushes. I’ve also used several major brands that you see advertised on TV regularly. This one cleaned better than the much more expensive competitors.
I have some hard to reach areas that other electric toothbrushes often didn’t clean well. This one had no problems. I even noticed my teeth looked whiter after the first week. Nothing huge, but it was noticeable to me.
During my nearly two weeks with the Bitvae Smart S2 Electric Toothbrush, the battery hardly went down any. I did go ahead and charge it. It took less than an hour to go from 75% to 100%. When I got the brush, it was at 85%, so I only used 10% in two weeks.
Compared to other brands I’ve used, this is impressive, to say the least. I usually only get four to six weeks of battery at most.
Using the App
The iSpruz is easy to navigate. Quickly check your most recent brushing stats, change your brush modes, and see how much time’s left before you need to recharge.
A cute feature is the mood music. If you open the app while brushing, music plays during your session. There’s a different tune for day and night. It’s a simple feature but fun. A video also shows you exactly which area of your teeth you should be brushing. If you just haphazardly brush your teeth, watching this could just change how you clean your teeth.
It’s important to know that you don’t have to use the app to brush your teeth with this brush. Switch on any of the other four modes to brush as usual.
You also don’t have to keep your phone nearby and Bluetooth on. Connect to the brush later to download your stats.
The only issue I had was occasionally the Bluetooth would disconnect in the app when I tried to see my records. I’d have to turn the Bluetooth on my phone off/on to get it to reconnect.
Final Thoughts
The Bitvae Smart S2 Electric Toothbrush is an impressive toothbrush. It cleans exceptionally well, lets you set up custom brushing settings, and guides you into better brushing habits. For me, it cleaned better than several major brands. Plus, it’s incredibly affordable. You can pick up your own Bitvae Smart S2 Electric Toothbrush for just $39.99.
